Privacy Policy — SpendSync

1. Overview

SpendSync is a personal finance tool. We value your privacy and only collect the data necessary to provide our services. By using SpendSync, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect via Google OAuth

When you sign in using Google, we access:

Email Address: To identify your unique account.
Display Name: To personalize your dashboard and social circles.
Profile Picture: To display your avatar within the app UI.

Note: We do not access your Google Drive, Contacts, or any other private Google data.

3. Financial Data & AI

Transactions and balances you enter are stored securely in Supabase. This data is only sent to Google's Gemini AI API when you explicitly request "Financial Advice" or chat with the AI Advisor. Your data is not sold to advertisers.

4. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated financial records at any time from the "Profile" section within the app. This action is immediate and permanent.
